The Bacon County School System's vision is to empower all children to reach their potential and to become productive citizens through a positive, challenging learning environment. The Bacon County School System mission has two main goals that drive everything we do at Bacon County Schools. The two goals are academic success for every child we serve and the development of good character in all. The first goal is achieved by challenging students with high academic standards and expectations for achievement through innovative programming and instruction. The second is achieved through a school, home and community commitment to character based on five core virtues: respect, responsibility, caring, honesty, and healthful lifestyles. The District has also committed to a systematic initiative to engage families in their children’s learning by building action plans focused on family involvement.
